Built on a foundation of community spirit and faith, our story began in 1975 when a shared vision turned into a vital lifeline for families in need. What started as a program housed in a local church has become a cornerstone of care in the region, reflecting a deep commitment to honoring elders and supporting caregivers. South Richmond Adult Day Center was founded by leaders who believed that everyone deserves to age with purpose and connection—and that belief continues to guide us today.
What makes our legacy extraordinary is the way it continues to grow with each generation. Many of our participants are part of families who have trusted us for decades. The stories shared across the years—from laughter in the art room to rediscovering passions in our community partnerships—show that this work isn’t just about care, it’s about belonging. Our commitment to excellence, inclusion, and dignity is not just part of our mission—it’s who we are.
